Jessie, often referred to as Little Jess or simply Jess, is a major character in The Outlaw Varjak Paw. She is a member of the Free Cats and grand-daughter of Mrs Moggs.

Biography

Jessie, also called Little Jess, is a she-kit, who speaks with a southern accent.

Jessie gets yelled at by Luger in the territory of Sally Bones, where the old graveyard is. When she refuses to respond to his demand of a location for Varjak, she gets her ear scratched deeply by Lugar.

Varjak appears to her rescue and she almost couldn't believe it. Because of his help she gets rescued and together they flee from the graveyard, with Jessie running the fastest.
